Words don't matter.

Until they do.

The significance of these words are not up to me. That is always up to you.

I never know when what I have to write will ever have meaning to those that come after. Yet that should never stop me from writing it.

So by no means should you stifle yourself from expression just in search of significance. Nothing even matters until it does, and when that time comes, it's not up to you.

It is up to those that receive. It is up to those that search. Up to those that wonder & wander, finding their way to the remnants of what you have hopefully left behind.

I say hopefully because indeed, hopefully it doesn't remain trapped in your mind. Hopefully you have remembered to get out of your own way. Once again, every time.

Because it doesn't matter how significant your words are. Doesn't matter how significant your creations. That's not up to you. And it shouldn't matter.

What is up to you, is the expression of your existence.

You are meant to express. You are meant to be like the tumbling gymnast who cannot simultaneously be the audience redeeming it — the awe and the beauty of your own performance. You cannot simultaneously be the aggregate collection of judges that interpret its worth by some external standard. After all, you are still on that mat. You are still putting pen to pad. You are still weaving that thread. You are still throwing that clay. You are still in the midst of your speech. You are still expressing the decree of your existence.

Whether or not that is significant, matters not. For the mandate is in your expression.

To bring it forth into the world beyond all reasonable doubt.

People will glean what they want after interpreting how they wish. Some will glance at what you've done, while others will study it. Neither shall disturb you. Because your creative expression is all of your joy, adversity, peace, purpose & reward. Equanimity in the midst of harmonious resonance — emitting a frequency that only you have been attuned.

Whether or not this is important is up to you, I simply fulfilled my role to express it.
